When did you arrive at the idea of healthy eating?

Once, together with a friend of mine we decided to try giving up processed, refined and unhealthy foods, and when three months of wholesome eating had passed, I got really into it. Our body weans itself from unhealthy products in the course of time; we just need some time to adjust.

What are the benefits of eating a wholesome plant-based diet?

Vegetarians consume less saturated fat and cholesterol and more vitamins, minerals, nutrients, complex carbohydrates, fiber, folic acid, phytochemicals, etc. As a result, they are less likely to have age related diseases, weight problems, depression, fatigue and other conditions associated with meat toxicity. As for me, I mostly enjoy eating plants and whole grains, although I do like all the perks that come with, especially my increased energy levels from eating a lot of complex carbohydrates.

Did all members of your family develop healthy eating habits?

Absolutely! My husband would often have a greasy sandwich or a burger, but in the course of time, unconsciously, he switched to healthier options. Now he is more than happy to enjoy a vegan meal with me. As for my baby, I try to incorporate vegetarian days in his diet on weekly basis.
