Buckwheat with ginger and zucchini

I believe that children’s meal should vary in order to develop the kids’ taste buds. Quite often I meet children having the same dishes every day and not willing to try anything new. This is usually due to the fact that since their childhood they have been having a monotonous diet because of their parents who are afraid to add new ingredients, such as herbs and spices, trying to avoid child’s body reaction.

I believe children should try everything, because this is the only way to eliminate the allergens, as well as the products your kids don’t like. It is also very important to include grains into the diet, as they are a great source of protein, fiber, iron, magnesium, B vitamins and other nutrients.

It was one of my best spontaneous baby dishes, and now its one of our favourites. I used raw, unroasted whole grain buckwheat groats, because almost all nutrients are destroyed after roasting.
