My tastes in food are constantly changing. I tend to play favorites with products and dishes. But there are some foods that I remain loyal to at all times, such as chickpeas, for example. Grains and legumes will always have a special place in my heart.

In fact, they are an important part of a balanced diet. Almost all the countries have food-based dietary guidelines. They are usually called — food pyramids, and may vary from country to country, but they have one thing in common — grains occupy their key tiers.


And this not surprising at all, as they are an abundant source of energy, and useful elements. In addition to this, they contain complex carbohydrates, which aid digestion and ensure that you retain a sense of fullness over a long time.

Beans have 70% complex carbohydrates, steak has zero complex carbohydrates. Meat contains excess hormones, while beans help discharge excess hormones.
